MilSpouse Friday Fill-In #45

Underwear Parties, how old is too old? submitted by Wookie & Co.
I have absolutely no idea what an Underwear Party is.  I don't even want to Google and find out.

What was your favorite class in high school? submitted by Adventures of M-Squared
I had to really, really sit and think about this one.  Most years it was JROTC, mostly because I got away with *anything* in there.  Yes, I tell you, *anything*.  Me and a few of my close friends were teacher's pets to the utmost extreme.

  Other favorites were

Academic Team in 10th grade - I was in that class with two of my best friends, and a bunch of upperclassmen who made me giggle.  A lot.
11th grade was AP U.S. History - That teacher was the best one I had ever had so far, and again, I was in that class with most of my best friends.  Smart kids stick together.
12th grade was.. umm..  wait..  Did I even go to school in 12th grade?  I must have since I graduated..  Huh.  12th grade is a blur.
Oh, that's right!  My brain was already at Ole Miss.  I was so done with Florence High School by 12th grade.

Have you ever convinced packers/movers to pack something they aren't supposed to for a PCS? submitted by Ground Control to Major Mom
We hid some candles in a box of baby clothes, but that's as far as we got with them.  Guam packers were for real this time!

Blogging plays a growing roll in the media. If you were asked to embed as a blogger with a deployed military unit, would you go? What do you think your blog would be like? submitted by To the Nth
If I wasn't a mommy, there's a possibility.  And if I wasn't going to be shot at, there's a higher possibility.  I could do a short deployment on a carrier, for instance.  But no, no getting shot at, and no deserts.  K?  Thanks.

Do you think kids should attend year-round school? submitted by Marrying the Navy
Well, why the heck not??  Let's be real here:  The reason kids go to school the way they do now is because of seasons and plowing, planting, and harvesting patterns.  That pretty much doesn't matter for most people these days.  Children should get a 2 week break after a few months of school, year round.  That way parents could still plan vacations, etc.

  1. Hahaha - no, DON'T GOOGLE "Underwear Party" because Urban Dictionary has a CRAZY description of it.

They're not that crazy and pretty simple. You just wear your underwear to a party, like you would a swimsuit to a pool party. That's it. No crazy swapping keys and going home with people (I DID Google it, and their versions were CREEPY!). :)

Sorry I asked a question most people didn't know about!! Ack!
